Thank you for your article on the B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore, Md. I had so much fun especially riding on a train. My father loves train and I plan to take my parents to the museum next year when they come to visit. I know they will enjoy it as much as I did -- probably more.

Thank you for the article on historic Savage Mill. It came just in time for Christmas. I spent the day going through the shops and found some very unique gifts.
My best friend Erin and I went to the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philly. We stayed in Cherry Hill, N.J. and drove into Philly for the 10:30pm walk through of the haunted house! What a great haunted house! The article was written beautifully. I was easily persuaded to go and glad I went! Erin and I would like to go back again for the day tour! Aside from the uniqueness of the haunted house, there was also a small museum underground for people to read about the buildings' history. We did have to wait in line for a little bit, but the employees of the haunted house and the hundreds of people in line kept you entertained. There are also a number of outdoor patio pubs and restaurants on the block, where we were able to grab a drink afterwards. In the picture from left to right is myself, Lindsey Lord and Erin Willey. The picture was taken at the end of the walk through and behind us is the watch tower. Unfortunately, there were no signs on the outside of the building. I think signs would eliminate some of the eeriness provided by the tall cinderblock walls and spot lights. Thanks so much for your article!
Sincerely,
Lindsey
Even though we live close to Savage Mill, we rarely
make the time for a visit. Your recent issue of Trips
and Getaways motivated us to make a trip there. Our
daughter enjoyed the Christmas displays and the game
store, and I especially enjoyed the paper crafting
store. After poking around in the shops, we happily
ate a French pastry from Bonaparte breads. Savage Mill
is a calm getaway in midst of the hectic Baltimore-
Washington area. Thanks for reminding us!
Thank You,

Thank you for your article on the sights and tastes in Lancaster, Pa. Your first issue came out the week before my husband and I were headed to Pennsylvania. We took in the Sight and Sound Show and stayed at the Hershey Inn. Though we had never heard of Kitchen Kettle Village, your article made it sound so appealing! So throw in live jazz, and we were there! It was great and added so much to the trip. We also found a little pottery shop in the village that was reasonably priced and owned and operated by a husband and wife team. The husband makes the pottery and the wife was running the shop the day we were there. Beautiful pottery and the kitchen had untold pleasures for your taste buds. Need I say Gary (pictured) tasted his way through the store!! Great gift ideas in there also.
Thank You,
Renee & Gary, Bowie, MD

Thanks for the great information in your magazine regarding Lancaster, Pa. My sister and I used the information and planned a mini family reunion with our mom. We visited the Kitchen Kettle village, stayed at the Amish View Inn and took a buggy ride and toured the countryside with a guide. It was a wonderful time and would recommend taking the time to go for a visit.
