“While staying at The Inn of Silent Music this past weekend, I picked up a copy of your magazine and read an article describing the Bed and Breakfast I was staying at. I enjoyed that and other articles and as a result, just now purchased a subscription.”

Enjoy the Pocono Garlic Festival, Pa.

A local tradition, the Pocono Garlic Festival is happening again on Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 5-6. Host site Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is pleased to offer a sampling of the regions’ local farms, food vendors, crafters and entertainers for the Poconos locally based, premier food festival.

New Educational Tent

New to this year’s event, we have dedicated an area of the festival to educational demonstrations and lectures and are very excited to announce the addition of Chef Alice to our educational line-up.  Hailing from Long Pond, Pennsylvania, Chef Alice will be serving up cooking demonstrations for both adults and children all weekend long.

The festival will be held rain or shine.  Advanced Festival Admission Tickets, Adults $7.50 and Children ages 5 – 12, $6; age 4 and under FREE, are now on sale.  Plenty of FREE onsite parking is provided.  For more Pocono Garlic Festival information, including vendors and entertainment listings and online ticket sales, visit www.shawneemt.com.
